  I have been finding poops in clumps outside the litterbox- always NEAR the litterbox. I’m not sure which bunny it is. Does this sound like litterbox problems or is someone being territorial??

  Well, I guess I would wonder did both rabbits have good habits before? If so, then I would say it’s territorial.

  Well, if it’s the baby, it may be getting her spayed when she is ready – could be that way even if it’s Max.

  This is a little off topic but…
  
  I am curious about the way Max and Penny Lane interact. When I got Sir Thumps a lot he was just a baby and Honkey treated him as if it was his son. Does Max think of Penny in a sort of father daughter kind of way? Or perhaps a Big brother? (I know this is probably a strange question…)
  
  I guess what I’m asking is…Is he protective of her?
  
  I just love hearing about how animals interact. Perhaps I should be a behaviorist.

  Bahaha!! No worries, Thumpsey, i totally understand. There’s definitely a big brother-little sister relationship there. When penny is being skiddish, max will go to her and it seems like he tells her that its ok, bc she comes right out. he loves grooming her eyeballs, but she gets annoyed and shakes her head at him. and sometimes when i feed them, max will take a piece of lettuce/bundle of hay and hide it so penny cant find it and chomp on it later. sometimes he’ll even take a piece from her! she just goes and gets another piece and he gets bored. he also has this long rectangular box thats maybe 3 inches tall-14 inches long, and he’ll burrow in it. once, he was burrowing and she tried to wriggle in with him and he got SO mad at her. he freaked out, flicked his legs, turned his back to her, the whole 9 yards. it took them like 10 minutes before they were friends again.

  Haha Fern also steals parsley from Thistle and then he steals it from her and then she steals it back, it is a cycle of stealing parsley.
