Hi, Sassy,
You have a very big heart.
I would try not to read Craigslist too often for that reason. You can very easily get overwhelmed with the ads and pictures, and I’ve noticed that there tends to be an “urgent” style to them that is designed to get animals unloaded fast, even if it’s not as bad as they described.
Once you start expanding your posts to include dogs and cats, it’s potential for hundreds of heartbreaking posts. There are many excellent dog and cat forums out there. Do you use a dog site too? Might get a much better response on one of those rescue sites than a bunny one. I’d try to limit future posts to bunnies, or other animals you know personally, since there are so many bunnies that need help and the chances are much, much higher for success here if it’s bunnies.
Several other members have done the Craigslist browse, and have better experiences with it. Maybe they can add to my reply.
