Will this be because of the false pregnancy thing? She still is better than she was mood wise but when I opend her bedroom door so she can wander as she pleases, with my cat shut away, she doesnt seem to come out much, she was very excited as usual when i changed her bedding tonight , jumping on my knees etc which was good to see her back to normal -ish but she wont come out and when she does its not for long. im just worried she isnt getting enough exercise….

Yes, this is exactly what it is – those whacked out hormones. I know how she feels :~)

Her instincts may be telling her to stay closer to her “den”.   This behavior should be short term and should not affect her weight too much due to decreased activity out of her room.

                LOL Sarita.

Bunnies seem to venture in these sort of territorial sweeps if they’re not familiar and have a cautious nature. She will step away and inspect the area around her house in ever-widening circles, but go back to make sure all is well in her home base. She’ll exercise eventually, and if she doesn’t, you can check out the toys section for ideas on ways to get her to play in her comfort zone.
