Two people came today to look at the rabbits and Jen said that Parsnip’s sister Olivia is going to a great home and that Parsnip got claimed too but the woman still has to build a cage, so not sure when she’s going to the house yet.  But I’ll go visit her before she leaves and also pick up Sandy!  They just got her, she’s an 8 week old mini-lop.  The previous owners ended up being allergic to her   No pics, so not sure what she looks like yet.  Keep you all updated!

UGH!  Nevermind guys…this is so dumb.  Jen just replied back: “Well, never mind. She just called me and she said she decided Parsnip is too big for the cage. Wow. How ridiculous”

There is no such thing as not enough room….you’ve seen our cages!  I just wonder if the woman was ACTUALLY going to build her a cage and not buy a little one.  Parsnip wasn’t even as big as Gracie.  A flemish giant I can see, yeah too big, but not a mini lop.  Makes me so mad.    Oh well, I’d rather have her go to a good home that is prepared for a rabbit.  At least when we got Archie, we had a small cage for him (for the time being) and all other rabbit stuff.

Oh no. Well I retract my former comments… At least Jen can screen this woman a bit more now if she comes back for another. Does this mean you’ll have Parsnip with you again though?

Didn’t seem like she was prepared at all.  I’m not sure….I don’t want to displace her because she went from New York to Jen’s to our house to my parents house (for a week when we went on vacation) back to our house and now back to Jen’s.  I’m afraid she’ll get way confused and not want to be social or something.  It’s a tough call.  Maybe we’ll see when we go up there next time.

New update haha! Parsnip has been doing really well at Jen’s and is letting her pick her up for a bit. A vet tech seemed interested in bonding her with her male rabbit, but haven’t heard anymore on that. So without confusing the heck out of her and also to keep up the positive attitude on being held, I’m going to foster a different rabbit. Plus I have a feeling it won’t be long until she gets adopted! We’re going to foster Sandy the 8 wk old mini lop. And yeah, I know we’re going to be in for it haha!
