My female bunny was established to be the dominant one early on but my male bunny frequently lies on top of the female bunny. Doesn’t seem to be an issue as she looks like she likes it. I’m just wondering if it means anything. I’ve attached a picture for reference.

Oh, that is cute. I think it’s just one of those lounging rabbit things.

Thanks for posting those pictures – sooo funny!! To me I think it’s just his way of lounging. When they’re lounging about, the dominance issues don’t really seem to come into play. With my two, my doe appears to be slightly more dominant. The buck does like to relax though popping his chin over her neck area and they’ll sit like that for some time. You bunnies reminded me on a bun from and Australian couples website “boingonline” They have a bunny Peanut who likes to lean on things. He has a bonded mate who was his leaning post, however she past away. He now has a new mate and does the same thing to her! If your doe is dominant, I’m sure she’d throw him off if she didn’t like it…lol….must be so cute to see them like this.

Those pictures are so adorable. I don’t have a pair so I don’t know if it’s normal, but it seems like your boy bun finds your girl bun very comfortable.
