         Hi!

What sort of cleaning solution should I use if I want to clean the vinyl floor of my bunny’s habitat?

I don’t want to use any harsh chemicals but I also need to neutralize some urine that has been on the floor and I’m not sure what the best alternative is.

        Thanks!

I use white vinegar to clean things that come in contact with my rabbit.

I bought a spray bottled and put half white vinegar and half water into it. Make great bunny cleaner! Though honestly, I don’t clean down Otto’s area that much because he doesn’t have any accidents. Most weeks I just sweep up the hay and fur and replace the fleece blanket on the bottom of his cage and wash the old blanket.

You can also sprinkle a little bit of baking soda onto the vinegar. It will sizzle, then scrub it off and rinse with water. That is especially good for cleaning a litter pans.
