Thought I’d bring this topic back up to say that I just finished at UVic, and if anyone has any questions about the rabbit population there, feel free to ask!

Here is a blog for the rabbit advocacy group I’ve recently started to counter the false information the University gives out regarding the bunnies:

              http://durruvic.blogspot.com/

Actually, Chunk and Euler, two of my buns, are rescues from UVic.

The really sad thing about the bunny population on campus is that they are a grey area, neither wild nor considered pets, so neither the SPCA nor WildARC will help if you find an injured bun. Just last week my roommate found a very young bun with a large gash down it’s back and took it to the e-vet. It probably didn’t make it, but at least if it was going south they would have been able to put it to sleep rather than it having to suffer in the summer heat.
