At night we have been keeping Davey and Delilah out at night in their pen but putting Dexter in his cage so they have a break, but when we let Dexter out this morning Delilah went crazy! She was lunging and growling at Dexter through the bars of the x-pen, but then Davey came out and they got into and little nipping chase and he forced her into the house. Would he be doing that to calm her down or to protect Dexter possibly? I was really hoping to get in some bonding sessions but now I am hesitant cause of her mood today.

Are they bonded?  If so don’t seperate them at nite.  Otherwise they may redo the I am boss and you aren’t argument.

If not bonded there is a bonding forum.  That could also be why they are argueing.

I think Delilah does not trust Dexter. I would wait a little while – you know Dexter and Davey get along so that is a positive and Davey and Delilah.
