For now at least lol.  Im bunsitting for a classmate and he has the cutest bun ever! She is cute and tiny and sometimes she can be sweet.  Maybe 4 months old, but we dont really know.  They brought her and her cage and stuff over last night, and she is here until next sunday.  Right now she is in my room and Hammer and Lucy dont seem to mind, but if they start having problems ill relocate her downstairs.  She has adjusted nicely, she was a bit angry when she got here because I was messing with her cage.  They have a store cage, so I zip tied it to Lucy’s (because Lucy is in a smaller cage till she recovers from her spay) so now she has a reasonably large cage she is enjoying very much.  She is very persistant, right now we are fighting over jumping on the bed.  Hammer and Lucy are allowed on the bed, but Hammers pen in open on the top and right next to my bed, so she could easily jump in there if she wanted too.  She has better litter habits then Lucy does for outside the cage, but poor habits in her cage.  Good thing I put down two area rugs under her new pen.  I dont have many pictures yet, but enjoy.  I hope they dont mind me posting pictures of her.

Lovely! Looks just like a local rescue bun I swooned over yesterday when I saw him on the webpage. What’s her name? Is your Mum nervous that you might get ideas?

Well, they thought she was he when they got her and named her Henry. The name stuck lol, and they call her Henry or Henreta. I call her rascal or bun lol.

And I think my mom is nervous, but isnt saying anything.  She actually loves her and comes in my room a few times a day just to say hi to her.  She even commented that I was doing well with caring for all three, with a newbie who isnt used to my house, with Hammer who is even more demanding now that she is here, and Lucy is who recovering and biting my mom like crazy.  (Yea Lucy lunges and nips and growls only at my mom since the spay lol, you would think she would be mad at me, I was the one forcing pedialyte meds and Critical Care lol)  But anyways she even admitted that it didnt seem like a lot of extra work.  I told her that Id told my friend that if they ever had to get rid of her, id take her if I could or foster until she got a home and my mom agreed.  She asked if I was dying for another bunny now (said jokinly but I know she was nervous) and I told her that I would not get another until I had space and money and time for two, as I would adopt a pair of bonded buns.  And she even agreed with me there.  But I think my mom is settling down much more these days, because Hammer is a year old, so ive had him for a little less then a year and havent handed over the responsibilty to her or gotten bored.  So she is starting to see that im serious, and while I would love more it might not be the best for the buns.  I admit when I was little I had my own zoo and brought home everything, cared for a while, then whined when I had to clean cages etc, then just passed it to my mom.  So now she sees that thats not the case and isnt to nervous, even more accepting and open to the two now.

What a pretty bunny! That’s great that you can watch her for your friend. It might actually have the reverse effect… after caring for three and going back down to two, you may be relieved to give up some of the extra work.

I may have a problem, Hammer likes her. Maybe he would like anybun that would be tolerant of him(Lucy is not) but he will sniff her nicely and has given a few grooms I think. They are both very interested in eachother, hopefully Hammer will get over it when she leaves.
