does anyone know generally when first cut farm hay is available?  I know that weather & climate play a part… I’m in southern Ontario which is latitudinal to New York state.  i’m getting to the dreggs of my farm hay and wonder when to drop into visit my hay farmer dude for my next bale.  i need my next score man!

I know my brother-in-law told us that his in-laws (who are farmers) are going to start cutting the timothy hay in a few weeks; so we’re just waiting for our bale.  We’re up in Ohio though, so not sure if everyone cuts at the same time or what.
