Okay, despite having a dark curtain on my window to keep out our twenty four hour daylight, Mimzy is getting snarky enough that he is starting to do those VERY early morning binkies and litterbox throwing again. Any suggestions on how to curtail this behavior?

Not that it isn’t adorable, but with the late nights I pull…OY! >.< I try snapping fingers, using a squirt bottle, telling him "I'm sleepin' 'ere!" but nothing works...lolz.

I wish my FLIP video had night vision actually…because with how dark it is in my room, I was unable to catch on film his zooms early this morning. He was zinging back and forth in his pen (he’d wisely shoved his litterbox laterally along the pen wall so he had three feet of uninterrupted space for propelling himself) and when he finally stopped long enough to realize I was staring at him (trying hard not to laugh) he looked so guilty and gave me this eyeball like, “Oh hai…I was jus’…you know…binkying”…

I realize I should probably get my butt up earlier so I can just sit back and enjoy this, but I am really hoping he’ll take a hint and maybe try a little later in the morning to set his spazz alarm. ^_^

Thank God the other two haven’t gotten into this habit and I sincerely hope they don’t.

LOL Have him call Sammy to meet him at a hotel – so we can get some sleep!
EVERY day this week she has been chewing on the bars like she’s being murdered, at 6AM. I’m here 10 minutes after my usual alarm time because we’ve been up for an hour already. And she’s zooming and doing binkies too! She’s usually a slug in the AM and does it a bit in the PM. Not this week. She’s at my feet, not in her basket. So unusual.

So it must be a seasonal, moon, shedding, bunny conspiracy thing.
She is also acting ravenous. So if I really want to shut her up, I give her the morning serving of pellets. Try that. There’s something pacifying (for 5 min.) about pellets. (Now she’s squeezed behind the door and the door jamb. Really cute, actually.) Also, try getting him out later and tiring him with play in the evening. If you’re up-he’s up. He might sleep in. And who knows, maybe it’s a sign that his infection problem is clearing up and he feels good.

I was thinking that too. The whole lot of them have been eating nothing but oat hay from the BB.com store for the last week or so. They are having less trouble in the bathroom as a result. (Things were getting a little ‘small’ in the litterbox…had me worried.) Plus the dogs are no longer indoors (Yay! I can get the xpen back out now…WOOT!) so perhaps they realize there is no danger lurking in the next room? They are all pretty barnsour as they’ve had VERY restricted playtime since the dogs had their separate surgeries. This coupled with the nicer weather, well….I think I may be trying to stop a steaming train here.

Mimzy and Fiver get their pellets when I go to bed. If not I REALLY would get no sleep. 0_o Pip can’t have them due to her poopy butt, however she seems not to miss them. But all foodstuffs are gone by 5 or 6 AM each day, so unless I can whip up some kind of dispenser thing (unlikely, that is not the best way to feed one’s rabbits) I think I had better just get to bed earlier so I don’t feel like such a zombie.

lolz… A BUNspiracy you say? Hmmmm…a very likely surmise Miss Marple! ^_^

Honestly, MM. Herself is passed out this morning now that it’s “late”. My lettuce heads bit the freshness dust in the night and I just couldn’t serve her when we got up. So, without even finishing my coffee I left her with a carrot (she didn’t touch) and a veggie smack (devoured instantly) and hay and pellets and water (poor starving Diva) and ran out to the store. The good one with the really fresh veggies. Two beautiful Romaine and Red Leaf heads later I had her fed. Oh yeah – my nephew is in town, so I got him some muffins but he was still sleeping at my parent’s house when I stopped by. It was rather early…

She’s stirring in her sleep. Probably indigestion….

You see Mimzmum – Mimzy is tring to get YOU as well trained as Rabbitpam is. He will consider it success when you not only wake up early, but leave the house early to get him the freshest breakfast possible

Really, Grace does this as well and I also give her pellets, which seems to put her in a post-pellet coma for awhile, even though she only gets 1 tablespoon.

My first rabbit did this for a little bit when he was younger. We used to leave him out of his cage (as he was litter trained) and during the night he’d be popping all over us in our bed. He calmed down as he aged.
Our cats get the “morning crazies” more than my rabbits nowadays. There’s always someone doing the kitty/bunny rocket across my stomach around 6am.

lolz…You guys have the best stories! ^_^ Yup, I would guess Mimzy has been communicating with Herself and she’s probably put a few ideas into his head…which means he has a few more than he started with.

Actually, I noticed he was REALLY upset about me using Good Mews litter again, so I went to PETCO on the day of the relay and found a 30 lb bag of UNSCENTED (ta-dah!) Yesterday’s News, which he was MOST pleased about. This morning however, he was back to banging the litter box around like a tin can on a convict’s cell bars. *headdesk*
Sheesh Pam, a WHOLE lettuce head?? I give my buns ONE LEAF twice a day…good Lord, don’t tell them you’re feeding an entire head of lettuce to Sammy! 0_o They’ll BEAT me! >_<

I did manage to find some choice organics at the store on Friday though, right down to the kale which is usually nasty by the time I get it home and good for ONE serving. Plus…the dandelions are here! WOOT! xD

We had such lovely weather today (quite hot now though and time for freezie bottles) that I was able to haul all the bunny gates outdoors and wash the winter filth off them. With any luck, we may actually have rabbit field trips tomorrow. I am hoping a little change of scenery will do them good.

                      Moo-ROFLMAO!!!!

No, she didn’t eat the whole head. I just gave her a selection of cherse leaves from each one.

Glad Mimzy likes YN. After using Aspen for a week, Herself peed outside her litter box for the first time EVER this morning. I had cleaned, and I suspect I didn’t rinse the vinegar off the litter pan well enough. Who knows. I soaked it up and put the paper towel in her litter pan. She’s stuck with the Aspen.
She didn’t do it again today so I guess she is accepting the Aspen.

She’s being extremely cute this evening. It works. – signed, Slave of the Day

Don’t you know Mimzmum – of course Mimzy already knows about the whole head of lettuce, thats why he’s banging around the cage! He probably has his own bunny forum where he posts about his owner who is very difficult to train

ROFLMAO! Oh Moo, you slay me! Yes I bet that’s exactly what he’s doing! ~_~ And I was wondering where all the strange charges to my credit cards were coming from too! (I KNOW *I* didn’t order fifteen pounds of barley cookies!)
