Hello all!  What kind of parsley do you feed your bunnies?  Does it matter which one?  I know there is the curly leaf one and the italian flat leaf kind.  And we have “chinese parsley” which is really cilantro or coriander I believe.

Hey Miyuki – I feed both flat leaf and curly as well as cilantro (which can also be coriander!!). My buns love it all!! I especially like it when they’re eating the curly and it’s sticking out of their mouths!!!!!!

Depends on your bunbun. The curly is more peppery I think. I usually give flat leaf myself.

When I buy Parsley I base it on what looks fresher at the grocery store.  My buns have eaten both and don’t seem to have a preference that I can tell.  So whatever looks greener and maybe a more plentiful bunch- that is what I buy.

I alternate between the two. Just so things dont get too boring. Not sure which Hammer prefers though.

I buy flat leaf for cooking fairly reguarly, so I’ve tried giving it to Otto but he just refuses to eat it! Your thread has inspired me to try curly next time.
