So we started 2 days ago with a bathtub session, all went well, Oliver humped little kizzy all over the place for a bit, but in the end they where grooming each other!  We ended on that note. Yesterday evening After I cleaned Oliver’s cage I decided to see if they would eat together, and they did, very peacefully! Check it out:

I must say I’ve been very impressed with these 2!! No signs of anger at all from either of them, they just play and act like they’ve been together for years!

You are so lucky – and they are sooooooo adorable!

All I can suggest is to not get complacent and keep a close watch on them, with the squirt bottle handy, at all times until it’s been at least another week or two. It sounds very, very promising, but just be prepared for the worst and enjoy the best.

How exciting ! There may be some spats coming up as they start to determine who is the dominant one and who is the submissive one, but you have a great start. Bondings rarely start out this well so it looks like you are really on track. Have they groomed each other yet?

How cute! I’ve been gone all week with computer troubles so I am just now getting updated with what’s been going on!

For some reason I thought Kizzy was a girl? Now, I’m confused… lol.

That’s awesome! It would be great if they could stay together and if the bond lasts thru the neuters! That would be so much easier on you.
