        Kind of feel cruddy, but it could be worse. Where they took the I.V. out hurts more than where they took my thyroid out, which is kind of funny. I have some good pain stuff, but I haven’t started taking it yet since I’m feeling okay.

        The 23 hour after care was super boring. My boyfriend brought “Talladega Nights” on his laptop and we watched that until they kicked him out at 10. Then I watched “About a Boy” and most of “Ghostbusters 2” before falling asleep around 3ish.

        Got home around 11ish.

        It’s good to be home.

        On Monday though I built my new rabbit cage since I knew I wouldn’t be up to it after my little surgery. It takes up my entire closet and is a lot more chew proof than my former one for Nova. It is split in the middle, so each rabbit has 5ft by 2ft of space, but they can still see each other through the bars. My mom nearly died laughing when she saw it,; she didn’t think it was going to be so big. The poop wars are on in full force, but thankfully my sister is being a doll and taking care of all that for me. When I am feeling better I will switch them between sides and eventually take the divider out during the day. For now they are content enough. Instead of sealing the corners so that nothing could get out I just folded them up. It’s really nifty! The best thing of all is that the whole thing didn’t cost me a penny in new materials! We had an 11 and a half ft by 3ft peice of linolium, and I had enough storage cube peices! I promise that pictures will come soon, or as soon as my sister takes them anyways. I am really pleased with the whole thing.

        And if I drag on and on, or don’t make sense in something I’ve written then I apoligize ahead of time.

          I’m glad it went well and you’re back home with your bunnies.

          Sounds like you worked out the solution to the flooring. Eager to see pix, but rest up first. If you’re sister can upload them it will be nice to see, but we are patient.
          Sending you {{{{{{{{speedy recovery vibes}}}}}}}}}

              I thought this was a new person with the new name tehehe.

              I remember you mentioned this surgery b4.  You were very nervous.  I am glad it went well.   My first back surgery I was terrified.  wow the iv spot hurts the most.  Gosh.

              You take care of yourself and get well now.   Sure is nice to have family nearby to help out.   And 2 sweet bunnies in the closet.  How cute.

              Send us pics when you get a chance.   Hope you feel better.

                Ah, pain meds are good. I’m feeling much better now. I haven’t actually got a good look at what the incision looks like, so I’m curious how big it is and such. It’s already itching, and I suppose that is a good sign. I get to take the Bandaid off tomorrow, as well as shower. I don’t need to wash my hair, but the rest of me could stand to get the ‘hospital’ off of me. I ordered a bunch of silk scarves so that I can keep the sun off of it so it doesn’t scar. They did a test on some of the surrounding lymph nodes and there was no cancer in them. Yay!!! It will be a few more days before they get back with results for my actual thyroid. If that comes back positive for cancer then I will take a dose of radioactive iodine to take care of the 5% or so left. Otherwise I will get back on my thyroid replacement hormone sooner and thus feel back to normal sooner.

                I’m going to go take pictures right now, but I don’t know if I will be able to get them up tonight. It depends on if I can find the stuff I need to put pics onto my boyfriends computer.

                    And some more. Sorry that it isn’t the cleanest. And I’m also sorry if I post the same photo twice.

                        That is very neat! Good use of space. I like the hay in the box in last pic. I’m trying to do things like that to contain hay but box ends up getting peed in. Does that happen to you too?

                          Nova did not pee in it before this switch, and I imagine that she will not do so after a little while. Hubble is another story; he also will probably get better with time as he did before, but he will probably always relapse. I have considered a plastic tub, but the box provides something to chew on and Nova is a major chewer. Plus she never full out peed in it, just little spot marking.
