I was wondering, if I can mix the critical care with baby food or just water like it says.

When I had to use it, I mixed it with water as directed. My bun actually loved it!! She got really excited when she saw the little dish!!!! We told her it was a hay shake!!!!!!!

Thank you, I was also wondering if male rabbits can get breast cancer? I think I’m going to have to have him put to sleep tomorrow. He has what feels like lumps under his nipples.

Critical Care can be mixed with water or pedialyte and have baby food and applesauce added to encourage the bunny to like the taste of it.

Male Humans can get breast cancer- so I don’t see any reason when male rabbits would not be able to get breast cancer.  Has you vet examined these lumps?  I assume so if your bunny is on Critical Care.

I just felt them today. He was running last night, so I didn’t take him to work with me . But, since I got home I could really see he is different. I don’t know what made me feel his stomach like I did.

What’s going on with your bunny? Why is he on critical care? I know you said you may have to put him asleep tomorrow so something besides the lumps must be going on since you just felt them and he’s on critical care before then – so what is happening with your little guy. I am so sorry for whatever it is.

I have read of something like mammery tumors in male bunnies. Someone here had a bun once that had one for quite sometime and they didn’t know but I think it was benign. I cannot recall who.

Could also be bunny lymph nodes?

Give us an update, what’s happening today with your poor bun?

Just got home. The vet thinks he has breast infections, and is on antibiotics. He felt a mass, but wasn’t sure if it was a tumor or if he was just slowing down from not eating much.

He still won’t eat, I’ll wait a half hour to see if he eats on his own and if he doesn’t I’ll feed him.

                        He looks so alert.

I was also wondering if I need to feed him in the middle of the night. Thank god I decided to buy the critical care just in case.

How is your bunny doing today?

You mentioned on another post that he was having surgery. Is this the same bunny that has the infection?
We’d love to have an update. I hope the little guy is reacting well to the anti-biotics. Is he eating on his own yet?
