  Henri seemed to be getting some kind of head tilt last night so we had to take him to the emergency vet which he was NOT pleased about. They checked just the outside of the ears, and then brought Brian and I into the exam room and said that there was no way they could check Henri’s ears without sedation! They said he had quite a bit of “personality” and it took them 3 tries just to get him out of the carrier – but fortunately his feistiness proved that he probably was still coherent and not feeling dizzy
  
  He did fine through the night and seemed fine today, but I thought I’d take him to our regular vet just in case. When it got time to do the tummy exam, the vet asked the vet tech ot lift Henri up a little bit so she could feel his tummy. Well Henri was so tired of vet techs by this point that he used the vet tech’s hands to push himself into a flying leap, and as he was arching in the air towards his carrier, he kicked the vet tech right in the face with his back foot! His nails left a scratch all the way from the side of her neck up her cheek! Needless to say I think Henri is now on the “do not accept appointments with this rabbit” list now….the good news is that they think it was just ear mites

  Lol hehe well the vet tech should have asked his permission first. Hammer thumps none stop at the vet and clinges to me lol. Hope Henri feels better soon!

  Poor vet tech! I know I shouldn’t laugh. But it is funny! I hope his head tilt goes away soon!

  I think vets should start doing exams on the floor, like eating in a Japanese restaurant, with comfy pillows.
  My vet tech already informed me that Sammy has “Rabbitude.”

  OH my Henri certainly had something to say about that.
  
  Cotton jumped into the vet asst arms when he was trying to weight Cotton. Then he dug on the guys shirt ahaha. Telling him I dont’ like this

  Mimzy is rather starstruck by our new vet. (Well she is a cute little thing.) When I take him to her he just kind of ogles her…as if she were a giant carrot. xD He’s the best behaved bunny of the bunch in there.

  lol! like some one else mentioned… really not funny that the vet tech got scratched up YET still had me busting. i have no idea how it happened but once with pinky there was just a flash and flail of thumpers with mucho rabbitude and some how got a big scratch (actually a gash that bled) behind my EAR.
  
  so happy that henri just has ear mites & not head tilt! (not that ear mites sound like fun)
