So I’m not sure if everyone rembers the last thing I posted, when I was thinking about giving Flopsy away. Well after a lot of thought, I decided I couldn’t do it. Plus last week when we were getting the living room & kitchen painted he stayed at my friends house, & John said the whole time he was there Flopsy was really sad. He wasn’t playing, he didn’t want to cuddle, he just wasn’t his happy bubbly self. When I came and picked him up, he was right back to his happy self.

It’s almost summer time ( next Thursday is my last day), so I’ll have  lot more time to spend with him. So yeap just wanted to tell everybody the good news. Oh I do have a question though, I’m getting him fixed this month, but the vet where I live won’t fix rabbits. So does anybody have the name/number of a good vet around the Houston area who does? Thanks

Yay for Flopsy! Honestly, rabbits are such social creatures and I am sure he didn’t understand what was going on and missed you all so much. We see when rabbits lose mates they can go into bouts of depression and sometimes may not even come out of it. So sad. He obviously loves you very much! Just a sign that he is meant to be a part of your family-permanently!

So happy you have decided to keep Flopsy – love the name by the way, I used to have a sweet Flopsy myself who is busy playing and binkying over the rainbow bridge. I am from Houston and have a good vet for neuters that isn’t to expensive – around $120 or so for a neuter including blood work and pain meds. The doctor is Dr. Taylor and he is great with bunnies, I have a little terror bunny named Fuzzy who hates being picked up or petted, will box and grunt but with Dr Taylor he melts into a little bunny puddle (I’m so jealous! ). It’s in Northwest Houston if that’s not to far for you. Their phone number is 281-890-1960 or 281-955-7114 and their website is http://www.prestonwoodanimalclinic.com. Hope this helps.
