  So, I’m totally a dork but I’m so excited I just have to share. When Freya came home you could lay a ruler across the back of her ears, they were always in a perfectly straight line. Sometimes flying nun style and sometimes one up and one down. Suddenly yesterday one is all the way down and the other is more or less horizontal, and it’s still like that today. Almost there! (See, I told you I’m a dork.)

  Awesome! I’m almost sad that my lop’s ears were down when I got him. I would’ve liked to get some pictures of helicopter ears 😉

  Lops landing. I may be able to out dork you…when I read the thread title, I actually thought “i know what’s this is about – anal scent glands!” Ugh! I though you might have be getting yourself psyched up to do the 2nd one.
  
  Are you able to post pics of Freya? How far off are you from that vet visit when all will be revealed? lol

  Haha, Jersey I thought the same thing! Though it probably has to do with my dog. I love the lop ears both ways! I wish Hubble’s would helicopter just a little more. With our Chihuahuas we have shaved the ears when they were puppies to get that extra weight off so they would stand up. Sometimes it will just never work, other times it does!

  Ok, you’re right Jersey, you totally out dorked me! Our vet visit is tomorrow. I’m making the vet do all the monthly bunny maintenance this first time so I can learn by watching rather than learn by traumatizing Freya. I still don’t think I’ll ever be brave enough to do her nails, lucky for me it’s only $11.50 to take her in and have them done every month. Probably far easier on the wallet than making her go in the carrier.
