had my mom’s b-day celebration at my place today and pinky enjoyed being the centre of attention.  later, when i let the dog join us (he was relegated to the porch during the pizza making portion of the evening) i moved pinky’s mat under the table so she wouldnt get trampled by the dog in all his people-are-here-to-visit-me excitement.  i gave her some hay too and she was so content to just stay, munch and later flop while we were visiting.
