I got her a day early. She’s already here. Her new name is Deirdra. She has deer eyes…. but I also like that name because of an old legend about a woman who eloped… well, Deirdra eloped the meat guy from the auction b/c KK saved her.
She is just shy of 10 lbs. a medium size rabbit, just perfect for me and L&M. She must have some lop eared background, too, as her ears kind of fall outward a bit at times.
For now, I want her to settle in, which she is doing fast… and heal from spaying. I can get to know her during that time and gradually socialize her with my dogs, then… she will have to meet Lint, this will be the challenging part! But no hurry, we have lots of time.

Well you pulled a surprise with getting her early! LOVE the name! Very suitable and it ends in the “a” so that’s very considerate of you.
Congratulations! I would not have believed she was near on 10 lbs, she appears smaller. She also appear happy checking out her new home. Yippee!

well, Jersey, isn’t that the nicest thing, to tell a lady she ‘looks smaller’ !!
–Deirdra is *very* comfortable in my house already. She is a super nice bunny! She loves to be loved! (figure that!) No, not a breeder tattoo, digx, it was done at the vet’s during the spay. I wonder if it will disappear, Mops got one that just vanished.

this rabbit is great! I’m glad she is so big, that way there’s more of her!I had to change my set-up, I built her a large condo for the pre-bonding time.
I keep calling her Priscilla… it kind of suits her which surprised me (a rabbit named Priscilla I used to find that odd)
— should I keep that name? After the snow fall yesterday, we ended up with dream weather today: sunny, and mild enough to be outside!
so… I let Priscilla explore my patio deck… this bun loves tunnels!
