Hello again everyone!  The past few days Inkblot has seemingly become fascinated with her reflection in our sliding door (if you remember the rabbutt curtain picture the door is behind there) and in the glass door of my TV cabinet.  I’ve seen her just sitting there staring and then she sometimes start scratching at the glass!  She also starts to lick the glass sometimes.  Do you think she thinks it is another bunny?

Do your bunnies stare at themselves?  Up until now I haven’t ever seen her looking at her reflection!  It seems like she just discovered it LOL!

My bunnies have never seen their reflections…now I kinda want to put a mirror down at their level to see what happens.

It would be hard to imagine what she sees due to her vision. I have a hard time imagining how rabbits see as it is. It may be that she enjoys the cool of the glass. Also, I notice the bunnies will try take on any barrier at some point. As to them responding to their reflections…I don’t know? Maybe someone else has a bun that does so.

She usually sits with her good eye to the glass so that’s why I figured she might be looking at herself. I’m not sure. She’s not actually leaning against the glass kinda just sitting there looking o_O. Then sometimes scratching and licking LOL.

Laith was 7 months when he discovered his reflection in the mirror…  HE sprayed it.   His first spray ….  so he went in for his snip snip a week later…

Pepper pretty much ignores mirrors.  My bedroom has full-length mirrored closet doors and she is only interested in gettin past them to explore the closet.
