Has the weather changed at all.  I know we went from very cold to very hot and the bunnies were like puddles until the temp dropped again.  Are you monitoring her food intake?  Do you usually give her treats, if so did she eat her normal treat?  I often use treats as my bunny health gauge.

Bunnies are very subtle and hide their discomfort when they don’t feel well. If her eating is off I think it would be wise to call your vet. If it’s too late to take her in today, then make an appointment for tomorrow and watch her behavior and eating. She may just be more relaxed, but I trust your intuition, and unless you see a change, like she bounces back up and gobbles down a meal after a large pooping session, it would be a good idea to have her looked at.

I would say if she hasn’t gone back to her norm by tomorrow I would definitely call your vet. Weather can have an affect on buns even if they are indoor buns. please let us know how things turn out!

Maybe something is wrong with her teeth, but either way, the lethargy thing is not a good sign. I would make an appointment with your vet as soon as you can – do let them know about her energy level being so low so that they make sure to understand this is not something that can wait.

While I still think a trip to the vet is in order, you will find that a bunny will never really like it when you reach into their space. If she went into her haven (and she may be hunkering down in there if she isn’t feeling well) and you reach in, she will see you as moving into her territory and fend you off.
Better to lure her out or just stay still next to her haven and let her come out and over to you. She’ll want pets then.

I agree with rabbitpam – she could just be getting territorial. Some bunnies once they find a favorite spot…well, watch out, especially if it is a compfy little enclosed space. Both my bunnies don’t like me reaching into their hidey boxes. I’ll get a thump, growl or even a boxing.

I also get that when I poke around in my bunny’s cages. Two of them in particular will grunt or lunge if I reach to far into their cage or their litterbox area. Usually I monitor how well my bunnies are feeling by their eating habits and pooping habits. If my bunnies are eating and pooping well, I usually attribute any mood changes to the weather, or maybe I had some guests over and the bunnies are upset about the new scent in the house, or also if I move any furniture around without their “approval” Of course, if I had a gut feeling that something is wrong, I usually go to the vet just to make sure – as a bunny mom you are very in tune with your bunny’s moods and habits, and if you really feel that something is wrong, don’t second guess yourself and take a trip to the vet, at the very least you can get your bunny more comfortable with traveling to the vet

I would have guessed a gas episode from reading your first post – especially if she allowed you to touch her tummy. Mine allows this when she has gas and sometimes flattens her tummy to the floor. However, after seeing your other post about the odd head behaviour, I’m wondering something more may be afoot – I mentioned this concerns about head pointing and respiratory infections in that thread. I do hope you can get her checked out – or that she’s had a complete turn around and is fine!

So she is still acting a bit lethargic? I’m sorry to hear that, hopefully she’ll be back to her normal self soon. I’m glad to hear she is still eating and doing all the normal stuff, if a bunny isn’t feeling well or in pain, usually the eating is the first thing to stop.
