Well, the day is here! Finally taking the buns to the vet for their initial exam. I hope to book their spay for sometime this month.

This will be their first time going to the vet, I hope everything goes well. I will keep you all updated!

Amusingly, I think Dora sensed something was up because I woke up this morning to find her sleeping in her litterbox    She had a few cocoa puffs stuck to her side and I had to clean her off with a wet paper towel. I can’t be taking her to the vet covered in poo! What the heck? She has never slept there before. So odd.

The vet was awesome. I definitely recommend him: Dr. Pieper in Stratford, CT.

He said they have never lost a bunny from a spay/neuter surgery, told me NOT to fast the buns before bringing them in, and seemed genuinely knowledgeable and cool. And very talkative and informative!.. which I like in a vet.

He laughed that I’m able to tell them apart. He said it’s pretty difficult! Hahaha. But once he saw them running around the office floor, and he examined both, he learned right away who was who: Dora is the outgoing crazypants, and Deedee is shy. In fact, I think Dora nipped him! Whoops!

They’re scheduled to be spayed at the end of the month.

Here they are enjoying some lettuce. Hahahaha!

That sounds like you’ve found a really good vet. And they are adorable!
I love the abundance of ears in the way. So cute.
