My vet won’t be back in the office till tomorrow and I realized I forgot to ask her, so I was wondering if anyone here might know…

Certain antibiotics don’t work as well if the bunny has eaten calcium laden veggies before taking the dose. Is Trimeth Sulfate one of these?

        Many thankies!

I’ve never had a vet mention this to me whenever they’ve given me this medication…or any other medications. Did your vet mention this with other medications you gave him.

She did call me Thursday morning and let me know that calcium doesn’t affect this medicine. Neither do they need ot eat right before a dose, like was required of the doxycycline.
Yay! Mimzy can have his carrot tops for a treat again! ^_^

            Thanks Sarita!

I’m glad the vet answered that one for you! I wouldn’t have had a clue….
