  Finally, I have my first video ever of Bailey. I got her a new toy today, and she went crazy for it. Listen for her play noises.

  Awww! She’s a pretty! I do love a Rex! It’s always funny to me to see mannerisms in other peoples’ buns and know that it’s a bun-thing, and not just a MY bun thing! Mine do the same thing to my sofa-pillows. (Which is why I no longer have sofa-pillows: they’ve destroyed them all!)
  
  Couldn’t get any sound, though….but I’m not super-familiar with youtube. Maybe I did it wrong.

  yeah, she seems to make those noises when she plays. I read it meant she is pissed off. But it’s weird that she just makes these noises with her toys and when she’s digging in dirt, she’ll make it too. It’s like a honk and a long “brrrrrr”
  
  but when I’m giving her medicine, I know she’s upset, because her growls sound different. They are more short growls and hissing.

  Some are very vocal. One thing for one bun doesn’t necessarily apply to the another bun I saw they product in the toy forum. What is the Nut Surprise thing exactly?

  The funny thing is that inside the ball is actually 2 walnuts- in shell. Which is useless to a bunny. Maybe that is the surprise? They do all the hard work of chewing on the ball to get inside- and surprise- a useless walnut!
  
  I bought one of these for my buns awhile ago- and the other day I came downstairs and I thought one of my dogs had pooped on the floor- I saw a weird brown ball. It was one of the walnuts from the toy- Schroeder chewed thru the ball and tossed one of the walnuts out of his pen about 4 feet away. I guess he did not like the surprise inside! And I was trying to figure out what the heck was in the middle of the floor. It was actually kinda funny.

  The noise she makes I think is sort of along the lines of frustration that we do when we’re working on something but it is a difficult task. She’s enjoying digging or going at the ball but WHY it isn’t completely destroyed on her first nibble, she’ll never know.
  
  It is definitely a ‘fun’ noise for her though.

  The walnut is just to make the rattle noise inside. Not meant to be used after it’s open, I guess. I’ll just give it to my pet rat once she breaks it open.

  Funny, I got Rocky that toy here in NY and it’s got a couple of unshelled peanuts inside… He isn’t interested in any toys though, but I”m hoping to see him play like your bun someday!

  Oh wow, super cute! I wish my bunnies liked toys. I love the noise, it sounds like she’s muttering to herself. Definately a happy noise.

  Well Bailey didn’t play at all for the first couple of months. And it’s usually every few days, I’ll see her playing with toys – so it’s a rare treat to see. mostly she just loves racing around and doing jumps

  Oh those are the best toys ever! I get them for my buns at the pet store down the street and they love them! They video is adorable!
