I’m not suggesting they’re suitable for rabbits. I haven’t actually read the specs, was too dazzled by the pictures.

I need to go into business – inventing all things bunny!

WOW That is nice!! You should invent the perfect bunny litter box-think about how many of us have to try a few times to find something that works and even then modify at home

I was thinking like an actual toilet. A plumbed box with a grate over the water. Then a pedal like button to flush in front that gets pressed as the bunny jumps out of the box. Or one of those mats that sense pressure and activate a switch. A more deluxe version of this toilet would be one that then does a water spray over the grate after use. Or one with a bunny bidet for extra hygiene. Don’t know what would happen to all the hay though…

Though it may seem I’ve spent countless hours brainstorming this – I really, really haven’t – lol. I’m just reponding to your suggestion K&K.

LOL I’m picturing a nerdy guy in a basement coming up with all these designs while his wife yells down “Marvin, will you leave the cat alone!”

LOL, I have the booda dome and the littermaid for my cats!!! I have a 20 lbs Ragdoll kitty that needs the extra room, my calico will play with the littermaid, she sits there sticks her paw in, and pulls it back out and waits for the rake to go by, I guess that is entertaining to her! LOL

flippersmum – litter kwitter? I have seen that before. After the plumbed box idea I thought – hang on, it’d be easier just to put a NIC grid over the actual toilet…j/k I won’t try it, promise!
I’ve already found faults in the plumbed box design – what if it’s used by a bonded pair and one activates the flush why the other one’s in the box?!
Oh – then there’s explaining to a plumber you have a problem with your rabbits toilet.

I think there’s potential in litter less litter boxes.  This past week I have had the rabbits in an empty bath for the bonding sessions. I have observed Jersey go up to the drain end and pee down the drain at least 5 times.
oreosmommy, I liked the Booda dome, I think rabbits would love that. The plant disguise one was pretty clever too.
