Yesterday my son and I  the opportunity to visit the new shelter that the bunny rescue we got 1 of our buns recently moved into!!!!  It is definately still a work in progress, as it is an 80 year old house, but definately going to be very neat when finished!!!!!  We are working out the scheduling details so we can start helping out as volunteers and hoping that my husband can help with some of the fixer-upper projects!!  I was worried that my son would fall in love with everybunny and I would never get him out – but he surprised me by showing great restraint (I on the other hand, wanted them all!!!!)  He took some of the toys he’s been making and they were thrilled!!  He officially has an “account” with their boutique to supply toys for them to sell!!!!!  The highlight to the whole trip was as we were getting ready to leave.  We were in a room with 2 pregnant does and I heard this little noise!!! Yep, you got it!!!!!!!  New babies!!!!!!  As exciting as it was though, it was bittersweet knowing that there were 103 other bunnies right there needing furever homes too!!!
