  I just found out from my doctor that I have a photic sneezing reflex lol. Which is basically sometimes (not every time) I get a bright light in my face whether it be a flashlight the sun or just turning on a light I sneeze.
  
  Never knew it had a name. My friends in high school used to bet on who could make me sneeze with a light first lol. Sometimes it will just happen once and other times it will be like 10 times in a row. If I am in the car and the sun hits the window I sneeze. Mostly it happens when I have my picture taken the bright flash then I sneeze.

  A lot of the time I sneeze when I am driving around a curve and there are headlights on the other side.

  The headlights thing sounds dangerous. >.< What if you lose control of your car because of the sneezing? *worries*
  
  I used to sneeze if I got nervous. And that was rough because I was a singer in high school and you don’t want to step up for a solo and everyone hears “AAACHOO!” ~_~ And of course one of the less desirable things I inherited from my father was a sneeze that would make a rhinoceros run for cover.

  I didn’t take any yearbook pictures past 8th grade. I never sneezed in those think I was too nervous lol.
  
  I used to cough incessantly when nervous and I am an extremely shy person so getting in front of class in school was terrifying so I coughed and coughed and laughed and coughed and shook from head to toe so much the teachers quit calling on me lol. And I was valedictorian but declined because I would have to give a speech.

  that is so interesting. I checked out the sites you listed. I am so curious as to how light would make a person sneeze. But it didn’t really explain that. No one really knows. Be glad when scientist figure it out. So very interesting.

  I have the same thing!
  I sneeze, at least twice, when I walk outside. Or even when the sun comes out from under a cloud. My dad and my little brother do it also, I guess it’s genetic.

  AWww it’s nice to know theirs a name for something you suffer from-even if there isn’t a treatment or anything, it’s good to know-very reassuring I’ve heard of photic sneezing actually
  
  I recently found out what kind of sleep disorder I have-there’s no real treatment that works but it’s just nice to know their are others and I’m not weird! ….well I am weird but…

  K&K, if you don’t mind my asking – what is that disorder? I’ve been reading about those blue wave lights recently. They’ve come up before in relation to circardian rhythms and rabbit shedding triggers etc. Anyway, used for SADS and sleep disorders. Sorry to go off topic Sonn.
