So we’ve got some serious allergies going on here. Between bun fur everywhere (*note to self: major cleaning to do today) and it being springtime we’re so blaaaah. Anyone have a good inexpensive one to reccomend? I was looking at this one just for the bedroom http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3957046&findingMethod=rr but Im hoping for something thats really going to suck all the nasties out of the air, even if it needs to be wiped down daily. thxxxx

There are pics in my post from the other day

I have a Hepa filter one in the bedroom. Works ok can’t complain.  Also our a/c’s I take the covers off and vacuum and wash inside every 2 weeks idealy.

You probably have central air though.

I like my hepa filter supposed to change the filters every 6 months. I haven’t used it in months since the windows were open.

Hey a hairbuster comb works wonders for shedding too.  I love mine. works great on long hair buns too. The fur doesn’t fly around like with other grooming supplies.

HEPA filters are the best for this, also regular vacuuming and grooming.  The HareBuster cob is arewome

Yes vacuum alot – I really like how my Dyson sucks up all the yucks in the carpet.

I’ve tried many air filters too but you have to stay on top of them and be consistent with cleaning and changing – I’m not so they just didn’t work for me.

I just end up taking lots of allergy pills.

Another thing that I find that works for me too – keep the windows closed – I hate to do that and love the fresh air but when I have the windows closed, it’s better for my allergies – not better for me mentally but physically, I can breath better.
