Awwww they are so cute! Where in PA do you live? Oh I shouldn’t ask that or I might be tempted haha! There’s a shelter in PA that I got Gracie from and am fostering Parsnip. She works out of her home but is very good, she actually goes to the people’s home when she drops off the adopted bunny. And they either stay at her house or have foster homes and she tries to let them out to play as much as she can. Just in case you’re interested.

Hi skibunny! I live close to Gettysburg, South Eastern PA! Are we close? Maybe meet in Pittsburg? (hint hint) How many should I bring?

Thank you everyone for all your nice comments and funny too! Wish everyone could come and adopt one! My biggest hurddle in adopting them out, is trusting what people tell you. They tell you what you want to hear. Just the thought of someone hurting a single whisker on these precious little angels just kills me! I will hunt them down!! Sorry, I got so dramatic. Gotta let go I guess, and hope people are genuine bunny lovers!

Very tempting! Pittsburgh isn’t too far from me too, about 2 hours or so. I live in Northeast Ohio but the shelter I went to was in New Castle, PA. It might be a bit far from you. It’s called Judge’s Park. They don’t have an official website, just on petfinder. -
Awwww, Mr. Bill, so sorry for your loss! I lost my beloved BunBun a year ago, she was 9yrs. I still miss her badly, but Happi is helping me heal.
I’m waaaaaay down here in Gettysburg! Don’t know if you would be up to meeting half way, it would be worth the drive to give one of my babies a good home! So think it over, it’s ok if you decide it is to much of a drive, I’ll understand!

Oh boy, that would be a haul. Meeting half way would be quite do-able… but I’d rather see them comfortable and in a relaxed setting (your home) instead of putting them through the stress of that long of a trip. I do think that would probably be too far.
We want to adopt but there’s no where right around Erie. Of course, it would be easy to just purchase from a store, but we would much rather adopt from a shelter. I’ve been looking on Petfinder and have inquired about Rex. http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/di…d=13515894 He’s about 2 hours away. My wife has off work Friday so I’d like to drive down there.
It was SOOO hard losing Trixie. She was our first bunny. There’s just no way possible to explain how so much love and joy could be packaged in such a little bundle. She was my little princess. She would lay on her back, on my chest and I’d rub her tummy. She’d fall asleep like that and start dreaming… her little legs would start kicking away.

Aw what a beautiful bunny you had! I’m so sorry she’s gone, I know it was very hard when I had to let my first pet go just a week ago. ((hugs))
Mr. Bill, I know that shelter for the rex! It’s Judges Park, the same place I got my Gracie
They work out of their house and the girl is very nice! She takes very well care of the bunnies, even lets them out to play. I’m actually picking up Parsnip tomorrow to foster her, maybe I’ll see you there
We’re going there at noon. I think it’s great that if the bunnies aren’t fixed that you get $40 of your money back when you provide her with proof they got fixed. If you need any info about the place let me know, I’m friends with the lady on facebook. -

Thank you for that response. It’s really nice to hear someone else’s comments about a shelter. That helps reassure my decision to adopt from them. Jen did get back in contact with me and all looks well with our application. So we should be there tomorrow afternoon and may see you there.Beka27….

Thank you, too.And now I’d like to say that while I am new to this forum, I’m not new to forum etiquette and I don’t want to hijack Foobun’s thread any more than I already have 8) Those babies are just SOO cute. I do hope they find good homes.
