  And possible new addition I find out tomorrow his name is Bobo this is with his current owner they are getting rid of him because he killed one of their guinea pigs

  Aw, they ARE cute. ^_^ My son wants a ferret (has wanted one for years) but I just can’t see bringing one home. He’s going to have to budget it for when he is on his own. (I’ve had plenty of them nearly break my stance on this by turnign cute somersaults in the tanks at PETCO and it drives me nuts. lolz…)
  I wonder if BB wouldn’t mind setting up a side forum for the ferret/rattie lovers onsite? Just somewhere to show off pix of your sweet little slinkies? ^_^
  Do you all have a website you post at that’s all ferrets?

  and I use goosemoose forum (don’t remember the full link lol) for my rattie fix since I don’t have any around at the moment
  
  There are a few others but most of the people are really rude that I have been to and I don’t enjoy a rude forum lol

  Every time I log on lately there is someone with like a million babies crammed into tiny cages or something like that or someone asking how to breed this rat to this one. I tend to avoid those threads cause I end up feeling bad for the BYB (yeah first I am like you suck then I am like OMG leave them alone LOL) then I feel bad cause I felt bad for someone attributing to the pet population for a profit. It’s a mess so I stay on the housing and picture threads mostly LOL.

  I would think a pet rat forum is very controversial. I have no experience with rats personally, but I bet many of the backyard breeders end up selling them as feeders for reptiles. Is that what the conflict is? Pets versus food?

  Have you been on the Petfinder forum? I used to post there A LOT but those folks are die-hard “my way or the highway” types. I only lurk there occasionally now because the flaming starts without warning and lasts for DAYS.

  Here are some pictures of him. The nasty cedar chips are no longer in there (OMG did they smell lol) he now has a litterbox and a blanket and some toys. It is a tiny super pet cage about 2’x1’x1′. But that will change soon thankfully.
  
  He is super cuddly a little on the thin side but he is on Walmart brand ferret food and cat food so I am swtiching him to my ferret food which is a mix of Totally Ferret, EVO ferret, and Felidae Kitten food.
  
  I will probably change his name BoBo doesn’t fit him and that is what one of my friends go by so it’s kind of weird lol

  Ack, I can’t stand when people obviously don’t know how to care for an animal. Poor guy, I hope he doesn’t have problems with litter training because of all the chips.
  
  My ferrets eat straight Evo cat and kitten. I used to mix a bunch of different types together but they picked out the Evo and ate that first. So I decided to just give them what they like, since it’s the best one out of the mix.

  Yeah and the bad thing about it is they had 6 more at home. He is in quarantine right now until I can get him to the vet to make sure nothing is wrong healthwise.
  
  I let my ferrets pick their food lol. Smokie likes the mix that I have now so I keep it if he doesn’t like something I take it out. So far ‘bobo’ (gotta think of a new name lol) likes the Totally ferret and EVO best and the nasty walmart stuff (so can’t wait to completely wean him from that).
  
  I have had him for a few hours and he has used the litter box twice and peed on the blanket once. Hopefully he will pick up the litterbox.

  Well we had a famous “singing cowboy” here named Smokey Dawson. So since you already have Smokie, Dawson would be a nice fit and it ties in with Pacey too! lol

  I have decide to name him Dopey (as in the 7 Dwarfs). Because if you wake him up he acts drunk or if he is playing hard and you touch him he gives you this like squinty head tilted look. LOL
  
  He went to the vet this morning and got a clean bill of health except he has some fleas which I treated.
