Hi! I’m Heather!  I’ve just registered for BinkyBunny today but I’ve been reading for months! I don’t have any bunnies as of now but I am hoping to get on soonish hopefully.  I am absolutely in love with rabbits and I love coming on this site to get information and look at the pictures of everybody’s little cuties! I have had two rabbits in the past, but when I was much younger. One lived to be about 9, a beautiful dutch boy named Rufus. The second rabbit was found in our backyard. It took months for him to get near us but once we were able to catch him he was the sweetest thing ever. He was a Rex (i guess mini) named BunBun. We had him for about 4 years, and the vet thought he was at least 5 years old when we found him.

Anyway, I am super jealous of all the beautiful bunnies

Here are some pictures of my old bunnies:

Rufus ( does anyone know what color he is?)

        and BunBun

couldn’t find any full body pics

Hope you enjoy, This website has been very helpful and entertaining for me!

Welcome! What beautiful rabbits – Rufus reminds me of my Dutch Mango – he’s also gray and white – I love the Dutches.

Bunbun was pretty too – my first rabbit’s name was Bunbun too.

Ooooh! I love the curly rexie whiskers! What cute buns! I’m sorry they passed, but it sounds like they had it great with you!

Welcome here! When are you expecting to get another bun?

Welcome! I hope you don’t mind but I went in and reduced your pix a bit. Thought it would be easier to see them. They were beautiful.

My Spockie had passed away just before I found this site, and it’s been wonderful during the many months I had to wait before I got a new one. So it’s lovely to have you here enjoying our bunnies.

I am moving into a new apartment in late July. Hopefully soon after that I will be able to get a bunny. For now I’m stuck drooling over petfinder.com and this site

Welcome Heather! Rufus was my favorite in the Dutch colourings. Light grey and white – love it! (Don’t know what the technical term for his colouring is though) And BunBun, how did you come to find him?
Anyway, glad you registered and look forward to hearing your experiences of bringing home another.

Hi Heather and Hi everyone. I have’nt been on here for a while, so much things going on in my life
To long to get into but in short, I know longer have Coco though he is with another good family. I lost a dog I adopted just recently, my teen daughter, and life in general has given me a run for my money.
Things seem to be a little better right now and I have since adopted a beautiful blue-eyed white Holland lop bunny
rightfully named Blue Eyez, Blue for short. Pictures to come.

BunBun was either abandoned or just set loose.  He had been hanging out in a feild behind my house for a month or two before he would finally come up to us. We even set out live traps but he was not interested we just kept feeding him and he gradually got closer and closer to us, Until one day he let us pick him up

Heather – that’s great, that he came to trust you and came of his own accord to your home. He must have a good life by those last remaining years.

mzmette; I am very sorry to hear what you’ve been through and about your daugther. Please accept my condolences.  I look forward to seeing Blue Eyez, he sounds wonderful!
