I got some tips!! I’ve done a few road trips and am actually at this very moment in the process of moving my bunnies!
For the car ride-I like to let them out of the carrier. I fold down the back seat of my car and stuff luggage inbetween the front and back seats-so this way they have the trunk and whole back seat and can’t get under the front seats. I give them half the carrier filled with litter, with a water bottle and water cup (both water with squirts of apple juice to encourage drinking) and greens-no pellets I just don’t see them bothering with pellets in the car. They settle right in after about a half hour. You can cover your back windows for shade by duct taping pillow cases on them.
If you were going for longer then three hours I’d suggest bringin syringes and stuff to syringe feed in case they don’t want to eat-but a short trip and they should be fine
For moving-try your best if possible to not change things at home too much-i.e. routines etc. Of course your moving but try to keep stuff as normal as possible. Then when you move them to the new place-keep them in their carrier for a bit in the new house while you set up their new cage/condo/xpen-try to set it up as much the same as possible and put their familar stuff in the familar place. Then give Dexter a few days to adjust to new smells from the familiar comfort of their home/in their new home
You can judge how well they are adjusting but I’d leave him in his cage/condo/xpen for at least two-three days at first before play time.
