  Hello everyone!! Ok, so for 5 weeks I’ve been taking a radio class, so I can start up my own! This saturday, April 18th, is my last class!! Well it will sort of be like a demo for what my real show’s going to be like! Anyways the show is going to be based on pet care and rescues! So if you guys can take a listen its from 11-12 in the morning April 18th:

  For those of you in the Fairfax County, VA area you can also listen to it on channel 37 on Verizon and Cox and 27 on Comcast!! I’m going to record it and find someway to put it up here for those of you who can’t listen! Thanks!

  Haha your time it would be 9-10! LOL, I don’t think I even wake up that early on weekends! Ok, maybe for this class since it does start at 9, but I’m not on until 11 this week. I hope it makes a big difference!! I really want to do something to help animals and I thought this would be a perfect start! Not to mention how good it will look on my college application, lol! I’m hoping to interview a rescue this week, so I posted on cl and got 5 responses in 24 hours!! So I have a few people lined up for future shows! Anyways I’ll have my teacher record it and get a copy!

  I did post about the pit bulls. Let’s see… the Virginia German Shepard rescue emailed me, the Hampshire County Pet Adoption Program, and the Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. So I guess that’s only three. You own a pit bull, right TARM? Maybe if they fall thru I could talk to you about owning pit bulls!

  I belong to an English Springer Spaniel Rescue and the president lives in Goochland – we have a lot of members in the VA area. If you are still looking for “interviewees” I can contact her to see if she would be interested.

  I’m *not* wanting to start a ‘viscious dog’ debate-everyone has their opinions I just thought this was funny-and since we’re talking Pitbulls….
  
  (Those with sensitivities NEED NOT look away-This is NOT a bad picture!)
  
  If you are an owner of a dog that belongs to a ‘dangerous breed’ category and you also have a small child, please take this as a serious warning.
  
  Do NOT leave your dog with the child unattended under any circumstances !
  
  Only a brief moment of unattended time was enough for the following to happen:

  Yeah. I know Sarah. Make sure you talk to her before hand. She doesn’tknow half as much as she thinks she does. Or at least she didn’t when I was with the group. Maybe she’s learned some stuff since then. My advice is to interview her first…her outlook used to be that pit bulls are “just dogs” which we know is not true. I adore pit bulls but I know what I’ve got and how to manage them. I’ve seen her do some questionable things at adoption events.
  
  But don’t let me discourage you from talking to her…just be careful and make sure she gives you correct answers to your questions before you get on the air.

  Kristie, I emailed three of the four because the LCADF never emailer back, but I didn’t here back from any of them. So I’m going to be talking about a different topic… You’ll have to listen to find out
  And for those of you who may not be able to listen I’m going to try and record it!

  LOL! Might be! She wanted to meet me during the week to be interviewed, but only if I could do the show live then. Are there adoption events maybe?
