Aww so cute! I’m not so good with breeds but if I had to guess the rabbit is not more than a few months old. Where did you get her from? If it was a pet store they usually get baby rabbits when they’re around 7 to 8 weeks old I think…

Welcome ! Yes, very cute. Hard to tell for sure. I mean the coloring could be a number of different breeds, but as of now your bunny looks like a dwarf breed, but the from the pics the ears look a little larger than netherland dwarf breeds so…???….yeah…I was a HUGE help.

Whatever she is…or isn’t…the one thing she is for sure is….beautiful.

Welcome! Definately a baby! I’m betting anywhere from 8 – 12 weeks. Probably a mixed breed, most of them are. What colour are her eyes? Are you certain she is a she by the way? They are VERY often mis-sexed!

Hello, god your bunny looks the image of mine (georgie) and i wasnt sure either, the pet shop told me she is a netherland dwarf and wont grow very big, but i also thought ears too big for that, although i have had her nearly a month now and she hasnt really grown much. Georgies eyes are grey, she is a little shy but getting much braver now. Again i am not sure of her age they just said she had to be nearly 10 weeks which is a great help.

We shall have to see if there are any similarities in them both.

I think a nethie…. A netherland dwarfs ears aren’t always real short and the body not all round like the show bunnies.  Did you notice him being smaller than the other bunnies the same age at the pet store.  That would signal nethie to me.

                    gosh he is adorable.

Mine was def smaller than other in pet shop so i will go with your netherland guess. I am going to try and put some pics of georgie on but am struggling.x

Peppa Georgie, your Georgie doesn’t look very nethie to me…he could be something crossed with a nethie I suppose but really doesn’t have that netherland dwarf look. Pet shops often say “dwarf” and “they’ll stay small” as they think this is more appealing to potential customers.

Yeh i know what you mean, to me she looked like one of my old bunnies  when a baby, and her ears are quite big, so i reackoned she would grow to  normal size but maybe be a little more petit at first, i keep changing my mind. I personally think you might be right and she might be a cross. x She is supposed to be the same sort of age as peppa, but i think peppa will grow quite big. I was told in the pet shop that although they live together in the shop and still do at home they may fight and i will have to seperate them as the smaller one will be picked on. I think they are bonded though.

How do you know if they are bonded as opposed to just being friends. They sleep together and snuggle and groom etc and have lived with me about a month now in the same cage.

Well…. they may be bonded for now  but when hormones kick in they may fight or try to reestablish who is dominant etc.  At 4-6 months they need spneutering.   After their hormones die down from this  2-4 months  you can work to rebond them again.

Arrr thanks, well i am planning to try to get them in next week, i think they must be at least 4 months by now so hoping they be ready, peppa has started chasing georgie a little but that seems to be all. Any tips on judging their age, i am guessing the 4 month as i have had them about a month and they were bought from pet shop so normally about three months. Thanks for your help xx

What a cute bunny! Like the others, I’m not sure about breed. She’s very small, but those ears are a bit larger (ND ears are usually very, very tiny!) It may just be me, but I think her feet look pretty big too. You may be able to get a better opinion on breed (or breed mixes) once she is full-grown and we know her final size. She’s a beautiful color!

I never trust pet stores, or anything they say! I always ask a vet! We got a dog from a pet store when I was 13, we where told he was a pure breed German Shepherd, and we would receive papers on him in about 3-4 weeks. Well, the pet store closed down in that time, AND our vet told us he was a Wolf Hybrid!!!! Either way he was the best dog I’ve ever had!!!

Oreo is an English Spot/Hotot mix…so I’ve been told, either way, I love him…I could care less what he is!!!

Best of luck with your baby!!! He/She is very cute!!!! I would ask your vet when you take him/her! =)

That bunny is very much overloaded with cuteness.
