How annoying! Allergies are the pits – seems one thing always follows another. Have you ever tried the Jala Neti? Moobunnay mentioned it here once (Neti Pot), said it helped alot with her alllergies. It’s a nasal irrigation technique.

I am also borderline sick… very stuffed, up, but I have a headache so I think it may be sinus related. My son is sick, I feel bad for him, it’s his spring break and he’s been sick the whole week.

Neti pots are very good if they work for you. About 10% of people who use it have slightly larger ear canals and it can give you a side effect of ear aches. Guess who’s in the minority? sigh. You can get a cheap plastic one at a drugstore to try it first. It’s really just salt water poured through your nasal passage. Ocean Nasal spray works the same way only with a mister instead of a stream of water.

Years ago my mother had her sinuses cleared by a doctor. It really helped the chronic allergies, but they stopped doing it. I wish I could have that done.
Someone said there’s an acupuncture point that works too. I’m ready. I never take a clear breath. Always allergies.(But not to animals.)
