  Today I walked into the bunny room and saw Gracie next to Archie and was licking. I thought she was just cleaning her paws that were right next to him but I go around the cage and she was grooming him!!! Not just for a second like she has done before but for a pretty long time, she was grooming the top of his head! I was so happy!! I never thought she would groom him. She always seemed to keep to herself and just tolerated Archie. But I think it’s official, we have some bunny love in our house!

  Awesome! She might have been grooming herself a little bit before that. Mine will do that. Sit next to each other, one (usually Max) will groom his ears or face, and then stop and lean over Meadow to groom her ears and face. It’s kinda like they’re thinking, “well, since you’re here, I guess I’ll groom you too!”

  Yay! Mine will do the same as Beka’s, except its not quite a sweet as hers. If one of my bonded pair bunnies notice that the other is washing its face, they will shove their head in there so that the bunny will start grooming them instead of their own face – its pretty funny to watch

  OH! Haha… Well I should have mentioned that Meadow is ALWAYS in “groom me” position anytime Max comes within 3 feet of her. So, that is just a given. I love them, I agree, they are hilarious to watch. I don’t think you fully “get” a bunny until you see them interact with another bunny. All the little behaviors suddenly make so much more sense in that context.

  Oh yes, Archie always follows Gracie around and as soon as she sits up, he’ll run over to her and put his head down…maybe to try to trick her into grooming him, I dunno but it’s cute. It almost seems like he’s her protector because whereever she goes, he’ll follow to make sure she’s ok. One time they were laying down together and we were cleaning the room and dropped something that made a big bang and he jumped over her and looked all around.

  Dono forces his head between Maryann’s paws when she’s grooming herself. I think she doesn’t realize she’s gone onto another bunny.
  
  The first time I saw Maryann groom Dono, I was literally almost brought to tears.
