Regarding the hay issue……     I wonder if the hay is not as good this time of year.   Maybe thats why our buns are getting weird about not eating it.    Just a thought.

        Anyone else feel this way?

Hay is harvested at certain times of the year. As long as the hay is stored properly it should be OK.  I think growing conditions/weather during the time of growing would affect the hay more.

It’s the time of year bunnytowne.  It’s towards the end of winter and if not stored properly and/or the suppliers are tapping the not-so-good stuff (it was a bad year for hay last year with the drought) that would explain the lack in quality.  I’ve ended up buying the huge 96 ounce bags from the pet store for consistency as my local HRS quality of hay has hit the dumps.

Here is some info on hay for ya!
