Hello!
My name is Lizzie and I just joined the forums. This is such a great site!
I have a four-month old baby mini rex named Remy. He is my first bunny ever, but now I’m addicted. I’m officially a bunny person. I researched long and hard before bringing him home, and it really paid off because my husband Stan and I have such a wonderful relationship with our bun! He’s now a free range bun in our small bunny-proofed house, and he’s litterbox trained. We’re getting him fixed in a couple of months when he’s big enough to tolerate the operation.
Remy is an amazingly sweet bunny! He loves to cuddle on the couch, play on the rug and binky binky binky! He has recently started sleeping in bed with us because he always wants to be by our sides. He burrows under the covers and I often wake up to my feet getting licked in the middle of the night! When we’re on the couch, if I lean over to give him a kiss he flops over and closes his as if he’s enjoying pure bliss!
He’s such a wonderful bunny, and I’m determined to take the best care of him possible, especially with the help of these great forums. Thanks for letting me join!
Here are some pictures of my baby boy.

Welcome – he is adorable! I just love the rexes – they are so soft. He looks very spoiled too (as he should be).
*Dies*
Oh my word! So cute! My mini rex was 4 months when I adopted her. It’s hard to believe she was ever that little. (She’s a cow now… LOL!)
Welcome here.
haha!
Yeah, for the first few months dying from the cuteness was definitely a concern ![]()
Remy has such a pretty color! I have a mini rex as well, she is so much fun and totally insane!! I’m totally jealous– Diego Rabbit has never been much for cuddling and unless I have something yummy on my fingers, you can forget about bunny kisses!
Welcome ![]()
Simple solution – always have something yummy on your fingers! ![]()
That fireplace one is just a killer. It is also begging for a caption but for some reason, I can’t come up with one…
Ahh! So cute and tiny! *dies* I love the 2nd and last photos
He looks so soft!
Oh my gosh- what a sweet super soft looking bunny!
Welcome to Binky Bunny- I bet you will find some great training and money saving tips from other members- I know that I sure did. I have saved a fortune already on litter alone knowing that I can use wood stove pellets!
We love to see pics- so anytime you have a pic that you just have to share- feel free!
Julie
My friend took one look at the fireplace picture was like “Are you sure you didn’t accidentally buy a cat with really long ears…?”
A few more pics!
As a baby:

Getting bigger:

OHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! What adorable photos!!! CUTE CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!!!!! And what’s even more amazing is that he is litter trained. Babies are notoriously a messy bunch, but how wonderful!!!
Oh, and WELCOME. I was so dazed by cuteness,
I forgot to welcome you upfront.
Oh how cute he is! Absolutely adorable! Welcome to the board, I’m sure you’ll find a lot of useful tips here ![]()
You better keep your eye on him. I think he’s a good candidate to be bunny-napped. Too cute. I recently petted a rex bunny. Holy cow, I wanted to steal it. They have the most amazing fur. Love them.
Thank youuuuuuuuu!
I’m always gushing about him to everyone, but you guys can totally appreciate it
My baby! <3 <3 <3
Hehe, the baby pics remind me of a little baby deer – biggish head with big cute eyes, and skinny fragile legs… so cute!
Well, according to that crazy man on Martha Stewart, rabbits are related to deer. Who knew?
hahaha
horses are one of their closest relatives too… strange stuff.
Well I think he’s one of he most adorable rabbits I’ve seen in while. I love the run/binky picture and the yarn one. Before others mention it, I will assume that you didn’t let him eat that. ![]()
Ha! No, don’t worry… we’re very strict about Remy’s diet. Pellets and tons of hay with the occasional veggie/herb treat. He LOVES fresh parsley and mint, which I grow in pots, and he goes gaga over a small piece of broccoli stalk.
Sometimes when I’m knitting he’ll come over and secretly chew through the yarn and then lie down innocently as if nothing happened. I don’t notice until I knit to that point and the yarn mysteriously ends. lol
When I went home for lunch today, he immediately jumped in my lap for a cuddle. Such a sweet boy! We’re so lucky to have him. My husband, Stan, has proclaimed him “The cutest bunny in the world!”

This thread needs a warning.
Dangerous: Cuteness Overload!
His fur looks kind of long on his belly, is he a rex mix do you know?
It probably just looks long in the pic. It’s about the same length as everywhere else. And SOFT!
I’m a crocheter. One morning I woke up to a cat’s cradle mess in my living room. Felony had managed to find the end of a yarn ball and run it around every piece of furniture in my living room… It was pretty ridiculous.
Your baby is adorable!
Haha!! I think you win with that one!
AWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!
He is quite the cutie!
Oh My! I can’t express how cute I think he is! We need a new emoticon for that!
This is me green with envy at the bunny love he shows you and hubby.
This is me saying “Welcome” and thanks for bringing so many gorgeous pictures. Looking forward to more!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy to be here ![]()
i’m thinking that fireplace pic needs to say something along the lines of “Hell hearth no fury like a bunny scorned” but it needs some tweaking. Hell hearth no furry like a bunny warmed? No – still wrong – doesn’t make sense! I’ll leave it to the experts to perfect while I go back to gaze at that adorable grey plush bunny you have!
He needs the 2nd name Dee so you can say “There ain’t no Remedy quite like Remy Dee” ![]()
Oh, he has a bazillion nicknames… Remyness, Remington, Remy-Dee, Remy-Boo, Punkin-Pie… I could go on, but I would just embarrass myself.
Last night he woke me up around 4:30. I leaned over and buried my face in his fur and he licked my cheek. ![]()
OH my goodness what a bunny adorable little thing looks real soft too.
Haha, lizzie, we had a whole thread devoted to nicknames once, and believe me, yours are far from embarrassing compared to some of ours!
LOL Jerseygirl!!!
