Gonna be in Phoenix Sunday to next Monday!! Can’t wait!

My parents are there, we were supposed to go to Cuba but they want us to visit and it’s cheaper-so more money for reno’s. They asked what kind of activities we are interested in…I’m thinking-visiting the rabbit shelters there!

I share the bunnysitting between Dave’s mom and my best friend-that way they can come every other day but the bunnies get visited every day. With four it’s a lot of work just feeding and Noot & Chuck need seperate time out (Kahlua and Rupert free range). I can’t wait!

Thanks for the link Sarita-I want to go look, I don’t think there is any end to learning and the more shelters and people you can talk to the better!

Brambley Hedge has been around a very long time so I’m sure you could learn alot from them.

That’s so weird that you mentioned Cuba! I was having a talk with one of my friends yesterday. We didn’t know if we could actually travel to Cuba.
My boyfriend is Canadian, and I remember the first time he told me that someone he knew was going to Cuba. I thought that was so interesting. I had never know anyone that had ever been to Cuba. (You know because Cuba is evidently this evil horrible place that Americans should never ever go…….) He went on to tell me that it was pretty common for Canadians to go there, especially for like spring breaks and stuff. I just think little differences like that in two similar countries are interesting.

Haha – yeah, I’m a Canadian living in the US and little things like that amuse me too. My Mom went on vacation to Cuba once and brought back souvenir t-shirts for everyone, then afterwards was all concerned that my boyfriend (an American) wouldn’t want his because it said Cuba on it. 😛 It was pretty funny.

But yeah, Cuba = Mexico. They’re pretty much interchangeable as far as I’m concerned, at least as far as vacation destinations go (and I have no desire to go to either, I don’t do hot and sunny)! 🙂

Sounds like a fun trip though – you’ll have to post some Cuba sunset pictures if you make it there!

Actually I’ve learned a lot about Cuba, I’ve been there twice and my uncle goes all the time. I was just like you hooty-I had no idea that people would go there!! Americans actually are allowed to travel there (both governments allow it) however as an American you likely have to fly to another port (ie. Mexico or another country) then to Cuba, and you have to be on a missionary type thing, you have to bring and document giving supplies to Cubans. As well, it’s illegal for Cubans to stamp an American’s passport with a Cuba stamp (so you don’t get in trouble later as i unserstand it).

Cuba is actually beautiful and much different country then I thought it would be-the people are amazing and I got to scuba dive a wreck in the bay of pigs!

*Be right back* Getting some Cuba pictures!!

That’s funny -  this thread “Phoenix” has all these pictures of Cuba in it………

That pic with the dolphins is amazing!  They are so clever to pose like that in sync!
