So those of you who have to spring forward…how did it feel losing an hour of sleep?

Do your rabbits notice the change in routine too?  It usually takes my rabbits a few weeks to get used to the change in cleaning and feeding times.

My buns were not pleased at all that I turned on the lights to feed before leaving for work and I don’t blame them either. I got bunny butt all around. I had to catch Simba to bring for his vet appt this afternoon and for the first time since I’ve had him, he dug into my shirt like he was digging for China. I can see him dozing off in the carrier over there now.

I haven’t typed one word correctly yet (thank God for spellchecker) and need to go chew a teabag and get some some caffiene in the system. Takes me about a month to come to terms with it.

          blah, Kathy

Peepi loves daylight saving time! He always starts to beg for food about an hour before feeding time, so now he actually gets fed when he starts begging. He loves it!

The funny thing is… I completely forgot. Mike was up early yesterday, but I slept in until 11am. I got up, got some coffee and realized that the clocks said 12!!!!! It still took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on! The buns don’t seem to be bothered at all…

Cotton too he starts looking for his food/papaya an hour earlier. Somehow he just seems to know time change a week ahead of time.

OH gosh I hate time change.   GRRRRR.

I hate the changes…I don’t know why we can’t stay on daylight savings all year?? Why do they make it darker in the winter-it gets dark at four here in the winter.

Now that we’re on daylight it’s light until eight pm!! WEeeeee almost spring (I love summer here, it’s light until almost midnight in June)
I don’t like the change but I love the light, and spring Buns didn’t notice, or I didn’t notice that they did-I did get bunny butt this morning, but tha’s because they are locked up while Dave and I are spring cleaning (We didn’t finish yesterday)

speaking of daylight savings-did anyone see this? LMAO!!

i am NOT a morning person and so springing forward feels like cruel & unusual punishment. i dragged my sorry butt around the office for the first hour without speaking this morning. lol. niether the bun or the dog noticed the time change though. they just get up when i get up and are both little piggies for their morning pellets / kibble. if i got up at 3am they’d still be game!

                      I hate the time change.

Just when I was getting up as it is light outside . . . daylight Savings starts.
It throws of my internal clock for about a week!

Did you know it does NOT save any electricity – people just keep their AC on longer on those summer days. However, it does promote people spending more money – things like shopping after work or a round of golf or Happy Hour.

I think that Dono has made Maryann lazy. She actually has not adjusted to Daylight Savings time as quickly as she usually does.

I’m with KK, I wish that we didn’t have to do the whole turn it back and forward. i know some states, like Arizona, don’t do it. I am happy with having more light in the evenings and then in the winter letting nature do it’s thing, but on days like today where I had to get up early to take Steve to the Airport (flys to LA for the day every other week), it was miserable for both of us, especially since we just went to bed a few hours ago! It’s almost 7am and dawn light is just now coming up. I would hate this IF I was a regular morning person, so I could understand the early bird complaints.

I have a love/hate relationship with the spring forward. I work really early in the a.m. so it’s nice to have bright light earlier and it’s nice because I can ride out with my horse after supper but losing the hour sucks! When you only get an average of 5 hours sleep a night it really hits hard!

My buns don’t seem to care about it much. Although they probably find it weird eating their supper during the daylight. No one has refused a meal though!
