I just bought Bella her own bunny havent instead of using that wire shelfing stuff on the floor. With the haven a water bottle is the thing that will work but both her previous owners had her drinking out of a bowl, when she was in the wire cage she had a water bottle and qouldnt touch it. Do you think she’ll touch this one? I think its down a little bit in level but not much…..Is it possable that a rabbit cant know how to use them or am i just being paranoid?

It is possible for a rabbit to not know how to use one, and even possible for a rabbit to prefer not to use a water bottle when they are used to drinking out of crocks.

Yup, they need to learn to drink from them, so you’ll have to watch if you switch her. We took in those six feral buns at my shelter and now all six have taken to bottles but at first only four figured them out and we had to put bottles and crocks in the other two cages so they could catch on

I had to teach my two current foster rabbits how to drink out of a water bottle.  I held a dried cranberry in front of the the ball bearing and after they took the treat, I clicked the ball bearing a bunch until water came out and then they figured it out.
