No, she didn’t leave any references. Probably because she is the only vet rabbit I could find in a VERY thorough search. Most of the vets here won’t even see rabbits at all. There are two other vets at the clinic who see rabbits but are not, in my opinion, rabbit vets. Although one of them got through Bindi’s last ear infection. I just like to know that my rabbit vet is also a rabbit owner and doesn’t need to consult a manual. My vet has a bunch of them, including some special needs and a head tilt bunny.
Olivia is done her oral antibiotics and the tube of ointment says “apply 3x a day until healed” but the bump only went down a little. And it’s hard to see if it’s still got pus in it because of all the fur and I cannot trance her at all. I might e-mail my vet and asks when she thinks I should stop the application of ointment. Olivia does NOT like to have her tummy all greasy. I put it on and then I stick her in my bedroom for 1/2 hour so she will be busy chinning stuff (she doesn’t usually get to run in there) instead of licking the goop off.
