They have both decided to hate me. Im not sure what I did. Niether will let me pet them, let alone look in my general direction, when Hammer used to give me kisses all the time. Hammer thumps and thumps on his play times now. Its a consistant every few minutes thing. He is digging at me and the carpet. Their are several bald patches in my room from pulling carpet. He will make sure to nip at me about every day now too, he had nipped before his neuter but just for attention. He has also taken up honking! He honks when he thumps sometimes, other times he does it at me if he is to tired to thump i guess. Last night when i turned out my light for bed he immediatly, within 2 seconds, honked and thumped up a storm. I flipped on the light and ran to his pen, got him out in a flash and made sure he was okay. It was the loudest honk ive ever heard, it sounded painful or maybe just extermely angry so i was really worried. But he was fine and was clearly not pleased that i was holding him, he fought his way away from me back into his pen where he gave me the coldest look ever. Rose is peeing outside of her litterbox. Saving alot of her poops for my room during out time instead of her litterbox, but many are in her cage, not even the litterbox. She too is digging and pulling carpet. She thumps too, but she was always a thumper, however she does it more now then before. Still not as much as Hammer is now though. She is chewing everything, shoes, blankets, remote, purse, clothes in hamper, school books. Im so mad about the school books, that will cost me alot because my school wont take them. Thank goodness she hasnt been able to find a cord yet. I know you are thinking why i would leave all this stuff out and not think. But it was NEVER an issue. The remote was my fault, because they did nibble on that before. But everything else was always left out and was never given a second glance by the bunnies before. Neither has had a huge binky or flop in maybe 2 weeks. And Rose is huge on binkys and a champion flopper. Hammer is skilled in bunny 500s but i havent seen any. They arent the same at all. The only thing i could think of that is wrong is maybe because i havent been home on a weekend in a month at all. Ive had lots of stuff going on, trips and family stuff and school stuff. Ive missed a few weekdays too because of trips, but only three and not back to back. On weekdays they still get there time out, however now most of the time its cut short due to them being bad and getting sent to their pens. I try to just correct them without grounding them to their pens but if ive got a paper or whatever i cant stop to go fish a bun out from behind my bed or refold the laudry they just dug and carried around the room every 5 minutes. Could my absence on weekends lately be the problem in all this? Gosh i hope not, i cant fix that. Im not out with friends, im busy and cant help it. I wont be home this weekend either. But do you guys think thats the problem? They seem to be rebelling.
