Today my husband got inspired to add onto Archie’s condo. I posted pictures of it before and it was big….now it’s even bigger! Archie knows we’re doing something to his cage and keeps guarding the room and making sure we’re doing a good job while stopping to binky a few times. I told my husband we better not have kids because they’ll be spoiled rotten
There’s 3 floors to his cage now and zip ties everywhere! He’s cutting cardboard out for the floor and carpet for the ramps. I will post pics as soon as it’s done….but thought I’d give you guys a head’s up haha! -
We went to Walmart to find some more NIC cubes but they didn’t have them and Target only had blue….so we weren’t going to travel a 1/2 hour to get one box. So it’s a little multicolored haha! We put carpet on the ramps (we did have cardboard…that was a sight to see
). I just have to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn’t start eating it. No more cottage in his cage, but we’ll put it outside of his cage to play with when he’s running around.It’s funny because I think no matter how big my husband makes his cage, he’ll still just sit in his little corner for hours and sleep

Oh my gosh im so jelous you have the room to do that!!! Man id love to have something like that for my bunnys!!! If only i had the space =/
Im jelous your hubbys so into your bunny, my boyfriend wont let me make anything awsome for my bunnys! I was all for transforming my living room into the bunnys playyard but noooo….

Gee, Archie is certainly moving up in the world! Skibunny, have you officially surrendered your bunny slippers to Archie now?
Yup I no longer have my slippers! He was up on the second floor grooming it’s ears for the longest time last night. He moves them around his cage. The one day I found a slipper right next to his pellets like he moved it to eat with him We imagine that he talks to them and he calls them Mr. Nibbles hehe! “What are we gonna do today Archie? Narf!” “The same thing we do every day Mr. Nibbles…TRY TO TAKE OVER THE HUMAN WORLD!” The cage is actually 4 x 4, that extra piece off to the side is actually a wall I made that swings out because he kept trying to get under my sewing desk and chew on stuff. So he’s off limits in that area.
My husband kept coming on the board to see if anyone replied back about his “creation”

Geez oh man! That thing is huge! I know you were concerned before b/c the smaller pen took up so much of your office space, where on earth did you fit that?! That looks so cool!It’s crying out for a second bunny, you know… you have so much space now!
Actually that first picture from before is the same exact size, it just has a 3rd floor; but still, when my husband was adding on, I just started laughing! I’m like “Oh my God, I have no office anymore!”
My husband is now hooked on this message board now and has been reading posts and he saw your comment on the second bunny part and I caught him on petfinder.com!

I don’t know anything about bonding, so I guess it’s to the bonding board I go! Can two rabbits be in the same cage as long as their bonded? That’ll be the one thing that has to happen, is that they have to be bonded because I have no room at all to put another cage…at least permanently!
