Day 287 of my captivity:

I think the rabbits have had me microchipped. 

I awoke with a sharp pain in the back of my neck in the middle of the night.  The spot was wet with blood,and I could feel a symmetrical lump under the skin.  Movement in the darkness caught my eye, and I saw momentary flashes of brown and white fluff disappearing through my chamber door.  They locked it behind them, so I was unable to follow.

Why?  Why are they tormenting me?  Isn’t it enough that they have captured me, and forced me into slavery?  The only time I am allowed to leave the compound is to go to work.  Even at my place of employment, I am surrounded by constant reminders of their absolute control, cleverly disguised as 5×7 glossy pictures.  Their cruelty is unimaginable–some of the photos are in ridiculous frames with hearts and flowers all over them.

I suspect that they fear that I might attempt escape while I am away from the compound, hence the microchip.  Now they can monitor my whereabouts through GPS.  Will I never be free?

I need to keep my sanity, and look for an opportunity to free myself.  My captors provided me with a ‘mate’ but the desperation and futility of our situation has given him a complete mental collapse.  He waits on our masters hand and foot when they appear in the mornings and evenings, he even serves them their favorite foods upon command.  I never thought another human would turn on me, and leave me at the mercy fo rabbits, alone and unarmed.  When he is not shamelessly serving our lagomorph lords, he spirals into a psychotic stupor, and spends his entire day laying prone on the sofa.  During this time, he watches Alias, Roswell, and La Femme Nikita epiosodes on DVD continuously.  I believe that there is a subliminal message encoded in these DVDs, and that the rabbits are controlling his mind.

Lately, though, his viewing patterns have changed.  He has been watching Japanese Pinky films, movies that depict women who are cruelly abused by captors and left for dead, who then seek revenge by becoming skilled in sword combat and martial arts.  These movies are excessively violent, and always end the same way-the female heroine exacts revenge against her tormentors in a bloody and rather provocative manner.  I think he is trying to brak throgh the programming, and send me a message.

I am, however undecided about the meaning of this message.  Either he is using these fims as some strange for of sexual gratification, or he want me to destroy our captors.  If the first scenario is true, then I am shocked, becsue his madness has prevented him from showing any interest in sexual activity for quite some time.

The more disturbing possibility is that he want me to free him from his private hell.

As much as I would like to rise against my maniacal rabbit oppressors, I could never willingly harm them, because…

They are so CUTE!

Oh, God, I’ve sunk into the same madness my mate has……
