As someone who pressed the Alert button (twice actually), I want to say how impressed I am that you have the foresight to have such an efficient function as that. I only caught a glimpse of part of that photo, enough to know I didn’t want to see it all. 20 minutes is pretty fast. I love bunnies – humans, and what some of them do – not so much.

I have to agree. This forum is pretty awesome. Everyone is so respectful and accepting. I think that’s a very difficult thing to find in the anonymity that is the internet.

rabbitpam, same here – I saw just enough! BB, you do bring up something I had wanted to ask yesterday…I was a bit unsure about posting the warning as it could have worked the other way – actually directing people to the thread to understand what I was warning them about. Also, it kind of acknowledged the distasteful post in a way, which I did not want to do!!!  Do you think something like that warning is wise, or should we just stick to sending an alert?

My approach regarding these things is to not give the antagonist anything. Do not reply, do not acknowledge. I wouldn’t know, but I imagine them wanting to engage someone in a war of words etc, by giving no response leaves them “impotent” for want of a better word! Or maybe they just post, get a little kick out of it and move on carelessly. Who knows…

The alert is a great function. Is there generally a CL that is on duty that’ll receieve this without too much time going by?

Happy for anyone to email me thru my profile about the post if you wanted to say something. I know I had some words I wished I could have posted but I’m sure the BB editor would have “softened” them too much! lol !

Jersey, I didn’t even see your post, since I went off BB after the alert. I think, when the subject line is deliberately benign so to lure unsuspecting viewers it may offend, it is helpful to post a warning. I’m sure it helped a few people.

(I’m sure the creep is getting a sick kick out of this thread right now. He is blocked from posting, but can he now be blocked from seeing BinkyBunny too?)

BB, maybe if someone posts a warning thread you could delete that also after the offending post is gone? (Or did you do that and I missed it?)

Anyone can see the site, so I’m sure the person could, and I had thought about that too when posting this, but I felt the the “Thank you” to all of you was more important.

I did delete Jersey’s warning post after I deleted the post.

Jersey, I still think the warning is a good idea because it gives people a choice. Others, whose curiosity were sparked, were warned but at least it gives everyone the choice unlike the other way around. The poster had stated  ”HELP!” and so that would drive unsuspecting people there. I know that there are many of us that when given the choice, would not have looked.  I know if I were a regular member, you would have spare me.

Also, when an alert it sent out, it is sent out to ALL forum leaders at once.

I get curious too but I don’t  need to see it.  Thanks.   I know there are curious people and thats ok too.  Just not me. 

I kind of had the feeling it was as JG said  thats all I needed to know.     We know people do that to animals.  Poor things.
