Ohboy, another one of Sarah’s crazy ideas! Here it comes!

So we all know that bunnies hide their illnesses/ stress really well. Most of us can tell when there’s something off about our bunnies, but I think that most of us can also agree that there are many occasions on which our bunnies have displayed a behaviour that we may have mistaken for the wrong emotion.

For instance, Little-Bit was fairly antsy this morning, picking up things and throwing them around, digging in my pants, digging in my dirty clothes. I’m fairly certain that this was just one of those natural cyclical weird bunny moods, but what if it’s not? Anyway, that’s what spawned this idea..

Anyone ever thought about the possibility of something similar in nature to a mood ring? Could it even be done right? (Where on a bunny’s body would you be able to get an accurate reading?) I know that when I was a kid, I had these cool tiny little mood ‘dots’ that you could just stick anywhere on your body and have your mood read. They were pretty cool. Any chance that something like this might work for reading bunny moods?

Just thinking that it would be useful in situations like mine this morning when you can’t be entirely sure whether bunny is just happy and hyper or distressed about something.

That would be great! But it would drive a bunny crazy having something on there foot or anywere. I know they hate harness’s enough

I can picture them with a mood stone on the ‘third eye’ area – like some of the images you drew and shared here. But you’d need a complex chart of how to read the colours and moods for these little contrary creatures! I think not knowing what strikes them sometimes, then reading their mood (right or wrong), is what has me chuckling so often. They’re always a constant surprise.
