I am confused about what might be wrong with this bunny?  Any ideas?

He’s cute – hard to know – if my rabbit had seizures I would seek advise from a vet.

I think they mean “seizures” not “ceasers”. He looks like a lionhead/ND to me. I hear lionheads are prone to seizures. But who knows if this is an actual diagnoses from a vet. They don’t sound very knowledgeable, “We hear theres medication they make for this, and it ranges about $20-$30 for a bottle of it. We havnt looked into it” EEK! Plus they are giving him away with a bag of carrots..
So, so sad. I hope that bunny finds a loving home.

Don’t you just love how people dumping animals on Cl and kijiji misspell or write in all CAPS and have bad grammer (I might be bitter!!)

It’s illegal to not get vet care for an animal in your care….why people seem to get away with it all the time…?? *sigh*

Sorry – had to laugh at the ceasers that only last 3-5 seconds. Are they giving him a ceasar salad that last this long – even with the anchovies? j/k

I wonder if they are actually observing a flop or attempted flop? Else as xParadise said re lionhead breed.

Oi ! Comes with harness and bag of carrots. AND “I think we may have some other things for him but not sure”

Last gripe – There’s a picture of him practically running on a stove top!

                Angelina – any reason you’re looking/asking?….

Oh wow, he does a great impression of Caesar for 5 seconds? I’m impressed at the skills!

                    LOL Sharper!

Jerseygirl: That’s what i was thinking too, maybe he’s just flopping! It looks kind of scary the first time you see it (especially those bunnies who get right into it- on their backs with their feet straight up in the air) there’s potentially nothing wrong with this bun. It seems they haven’t even bothered taking him to a vet. So who knows, maybe they just aren’t bunny-savvy people.

Oh boy…….I just read the ad on CL.  Sounds like this bunny would DEFINITELY benefit from a new home/owner!  They should have a friend proof-read their ad next time too! (I type the wrong thing too sometimes, but come on folks! hehe)

                      Good luck lil bunny!!

Maybe he IS just flopping…..when we got our first bunny, Pringles, she started doing pretty violent flops as soon as she jumped out of the box and it scared us to death. My son does have seizures and that was the first thing we thought was going on with with this crazy furball flinging herself on her back, legs flailing in the air. It was positively un-nerving. I immediately got online and found out that she was actually just a happy rabbit doing a series of flops!

If the poor bunny is having seizures, I know they can give several different kinds of meds to dogs, surely there’s something compatible for rabbits.

Poor little guy, I hope someone adopts him quick.

Scooter here. I agree, the flopping takes a while to get used to before we realize they’re just fine. We had our clocks reset on that after losing Reno a few weeks ago When we found her she was flopped over exactly like that, but she was definitely not ok and died within minutes of then. Since then we’ve been a bit nervous at flops. It’ll go away eventually, of course, but for now…

I believe that the bun is on the stove area simply for the pictures to be taken and he’s not normally up there. I know how hard it is to get a good pic of a bunny who likes to roam around. Hopefully someone will pick him up.

K&K just for kicks, I have to tell you that you spelled grammar wrong when you were complaining about theirs! Hehe

In all seriousness, I hope that little bun finds a good home with proper care.

It always bothered me to read CL ads that said

“I’m rehoming them because I don’t have the time for them…….cage not included”

Which really means: “I just don’t like this one. I want to give it away but I still need to keep my cage and supplies for the new one I will be getting.”

Ooh poor thing, it sounds like all they feed him is carrots and the 2 year old poking at him? no wonder he is skittish!

                                        *reads Jersey’s post*

Hmm yeah maybe he’s just flopping, and doing funny twitchy binkies like Pudge does
