        Hello everyone

              I have had my bunny fur for about 4 years now. Ever since i got him he’s always been very bouncy and playful. But from the beginning when he pooped it would always be lil round balls it would stick together? And now its gotten worse and now he makes real loud noises a few times a day like a squeling sound. And he sounds like hes spitting at night and he breaths really hard sometimes especially when i take him out of his cage or when i put him in but even when im not near him he does it! And hes been shedding year round. I love my bunny so much some please help me!

                It could be really serious…….even if you have to get in the car and drive to the nearest place that does see rabbits, I would. Your bunny needs medical attention. Waiting can’t be helping his situation. He is helpless…please get him to a vet.

                      Oh how scary! Well, even if you can’t find a rabbit-savvy vet, it would still be best to get to a regular vet so they can at least help with stabilizing. The fact he is in obvious pain and breathing heavy means he really needs  more emergency care than we can offer here. If you tell us where you are located (city, region, and country) we might be able to help you find a rabbit-savvy vet for the future, but in the meantime, don’t wait for an answer, just get him to a vet.

                      HUGS!

                        You don’t need a vet that ‘specializes’ in rabbits-that’s another four years after vet school and they are rare -the closest to me is twelve hours away. A regular vet who sees exotics/rabbits is fine.

                        However at this point your rabbit sounds extremely ill and ANY vet who will see him is better then leaving him-Even if the only vet you can get to won’t see rabbits-show up at the clinic NOW with the rabbit.

                        HE NEEDS TO SEE A VET NOW-any vet!!

                        Please keep us posted {{VIBES}}

                          Thank you for the alert allenj! Do you have an update on your bunny? Were you able to get him in to an ER vet last night or a regular vet this morning?

                                I agree – all of those symptoms mean that you need to take your bunny to the vet. The website http://www.rabbit.org has a listing of good rabbit vets in all different cities, I’m sure you can find one near you.
